Create

Fully customisable, design-driven flooring.

Toncam is proud to offer the Create® collection from Ted Todd, designed for those who want total control over floor aesthetics.

This collection includes 32 floors across 10 tones, and supports mixing and matching of plank, herringbone, chevron and square formats, all engineered to work seamlessly together.

Constructed from certified European oak (UKTR or PEFC), each Create® floor is 15 mm thick with a 3 mm wear layer and has a brushed texture, making it stable and versatile, even usable on walls.

Whether you want subtle consistency or bold contrasts, Create® gives you the flexibility to express your own signature.

Affordable luxury with natural character.

The Project collection is Ted Todd’s high-value entry point: robust, sustainable, and beautifully natural.

Made using FSC and UKTR certified European oak, Project is available in 14–15 mm engineered boards with brushed texture in multiple tones, wide and extra-wide planks, and herringbone blocks.

It’s ideal for both residential and commercial settings, and all boards can also be used as wall cladding.

Perfect for clients who want the beauty and prestige of a Ted Todd floor without the premium price.

Warehouse

Understated elegance with subtle texture.

For a more modern, textural appeal, the Warehouse collection by Ted Todd is a standout.

These floors feature undulating texture, gently brushed surfaces that highlight the natural grain detail.

Offered in plank, chevron and herringbone forms, Warehouse floors are FSC-certified, nature-grade European oak and available in 15 mm or 20 mm thicknesses with 4 mm or 6 mm wear layers.

Durable and stable, these engineered floors perform well under underfloor heating and suit interiors where texture and tone go hand-in-hand.

Guide To Selecting Your Floor...

You Visualise, We Specialise.

Toncam only sell responsibly sourced and manufactured flooring,

The choice is endless …. At Toncam we encourage you to visualize what you would like from your wooden floor, and we will produce or source it to match your requirements.

So many factors will have to be taken into account such as species of wood, plank lengths and widths, tones, textures, design patterns, choice of finish, laying angles, wood grade and finishing touches - all determine how your floor will look.

Come and visit our showroom for some inspiration or we can bring samples to your house. The kettle is always on, or the fridge has some light refreshments if you want to book a private viewing out of hours.

We can provide flooring on a supply only basis, or supply and Install ensuring that this is done to the best standard using high quality materials and fitters. We will then also supply products and advise on the appropriate after care for your choice of finish.

Where to Start

Solid or Engineered

Solid is the traditional flooring choice. Comes in various widths and lengths and can be enhanced with bevels and finishes.

Engineered is precision made with layered sections of ply or wood bonded together. The grain of each piece runs adjacent to the next to enhance the planks strength and resilience to movement. This is perfect with underfloor heating and environments that are more susceptible to humidity and temperature change.

Pre-finished or Unfinished

We can supply boards pre-finished with Hardwax oil, Hardened UV oil or lacquer. Your choice of finish may be determined by the look or practicality of the floor, whether it is for domestic or commercial use. Once laid it is ready to use.

Unfinished wood will require a treatment once installed. At Toncam we can do this for you to a very professional standard using the Bona range of products. We can use a product to keep the floor its natural colour, change the colour using the create range or 2K craft oils, apply high traffic HD laquer for busy commercial areas, or an anti slip laquer to reduce accidents in the right areas.

Grade

Natural, Rustic, Character grade are often the same thing and will generally mean that the floor has been selected to contain more knots, medullary rays, sap wood, sound heart, and colour variation.
Prime or select is generally chosen for its clean, uniform appearance. Minimal knots, sap and colour variation.

Square Edge or Micro Bevel

Most common is the use of a micro bevel. This can be all four sides or just down the edge. The sharp edge is planed off at a 45 degree angle adding definition between the planks or blocks.
Square edge gives a close fitting smoother look.

Effects

Brushed – Boards can be light or heavy brushed to create a textured feel. Lovely to walk on in bare feet and good for pets as they get the feeling of more grip underfoot. Exposes the harder wearing wood and is not as scratched so easily.

Distressed – If you want the look and feel of an old worn in floor then this can be achieved through various processes. Some of our boards are hand crafted by experts to give a unique feel and appearance.

Traditional boards or something different – As it suggests, you can have traditional long length boards in a variety of widths, or choose something different like a herringbone effect, parquet blocks, patterns and panels, even create your own floor.
